Junior classes teach this style within an age-appropriate, up-to-date framework. Senior 'open' classes are taught by current industry professionals who are at the cutting edge of this current genre.
When established in 1991, Cathy-Lea was unique in its performing arts curriculum.

Hip hop is a form of dance consisting of a number of different styles such as breaking, locking and popping. Hip hop has also greatly influenced the style of jazz/funk. Students in this class learn routines.
Our Recreational program offers primary school aged children a strong foundation in dancing without the pressure of competitions or exams.
