This is a two-day program designed as a safe introduction to the high angle, rope rescue environment.To understand and use procedures, equipment and techniques needed to implement a safe rescue of a casualty at height.

This one-day practical based course is designed to provide you with the initial skills needed to respond to emergency scene technical rescues. You will acquire confidence and develop skills in working with technical rope rescue procedures.

Rope Access Training course is offered by DSC Safety Services. DSC Safety Services has partnered with HAZMASTERS to offer the most comprehensive Asbestos Remediation Abatement program in Atlantic Canada.

This is the beginner level and all new candidates have to undertake an IRATA approved training course of a minimum of four days (we do five) followed by a one-day assessment by an independent IRATA assessor.

IRATA Training Level 1 training is offered by Kee Safety. An IRATA Level 1 technician will be able to perform a range of rope access maneuvres and have an understanding of the current legislation. An IRATA Level 1 is required to be supervised by an IRATA Level 3 technician.

High angle training is recommended for personnel who would encounter rescue situations that involve the vertical environment or any scenario that risks of falling from height exist.
