This course shows workers how to work safely in and around hydrogen sulfide (H2S) environments. H2S is a naturally occurring gas. It is often referred to as sour gas, acid gas, stink damp or sulphurated hydrogen.

The aims and objectives of the training are to ensure that the delegate gains the required knowledge and understanding of the particular hazards and properties of H2S, and appropriate emergency response actions to take should a H2S related incident arise.

This is an all day course that provides you with the training to successfully complete the test for certification in H2S Alive. Upon completion of the test, you will receive a temporary certificate that will be valid for 90 days. The permanent certificate is valid for 3 years.

As the industry standard in Canada and recognized around the world, students will learn how to work safely in and around hydrogen sulphide (H2S) environments and receive a 3-year certificate.
