Cinema 4d allows designers to create complex 3d graphic models and bring them to life. This 3d software can be used vastly and has numerous functions, graphics tools, high-resolution textures, and complex animations.

Love cartoons, Disney, and Pixar? Students will learn to create their own 2D animated shorts as they explore the principles of animation and storytelling. Throughout the course, students will get hands-on with a range of film and animation projects to put their new skills to the test!

This 3 hour workshop provides an overview of essential skills for Animation, a brief history on the subject and the various career paths that exist within this vast creative industry.

Ideal for the beginner animator! This program focuses on the principles of hand drawn, frame-by-frame animation. Emphasis is placed on the study of anatomy & structure, arcs, cycles, stretch & squash, timing, spacing, loose motion and drawing quality. 

This exciting Digital Animation class provides our students with the opportunity to create a 5-minute short film. Our skilled instructor will teach students the fundamentals to stop motion animation, including storyboarding, material selection, and stop motion movement techniques and procedures.

Participants will be introduced to the ABC’s of clay animation and will create their own 2-5 min cartoon in which their clay character will act according to their own scenario and speak with their own voice.

It is never too early to start working on your portfolio, but it can be too late.  Being a Sheridan graduate and having over 10 years of experience in the industry I can tell you that you have to have an outstanding portfolio to get your foot in the door.
