ACLS Dual Certification

ACLS training (2-Day Training – Dual Certification (8am to 4pm)) includes, but is not limited to, emergency response, emergency medicine and intensive care unit personnel, such as physicians, nurses and paramedics.

Each participant must have read the documentation provided before the start of the training and must have completed the online pre-test. 

This pretest is  MANDATORY.   Link for the pretest - to copy and paste into your internet browser: You will need to print your result and bring it on the morning of the training. Participants who do not bring their proof will not be able to continue their training. 

Course Objectives:

The aim is to improve the practical skills of health professionals when working with victims of cardiac or cardiorespiratory arrest.

• Recognize conditions that can lead to cardiac arrest and initiate early management of these conditions;
• Évaluer correctement et rapidement une situation clinique d’urgence cardiorespiratoire chez l’adulte;
• Identify and treat ischemic chest pain and provide timely care to patients with acute coronary syndromes.
• Demonstrate skills in providing advanced life support to adults.
• Perform resuscitation according to priority order;
• Know how to stabilize and monitor after resuscitation;
• Organize and lead a resuscitation team.
• Demonstrate effective communication as a member or leader of a resuscitation team.
• Explain the importance of teamwork and recognize the impact of team dynamics on overall performance.
• Recognize other life-threatening clinical situations, such as stroke, and provide effective initial care.
