This truly gives our students the personalized attention they deserve. We do not start recital dances in September. Class time is focussed primarily upon learning. We are not obsessive regarding the perfection of a recital dance. The Janice Luey Dance Co. is primarily a recreational school, with a small competitive division.

The future trend of dance… this style focuses on flexibility, strength, control & agility - enhancing dancers' overall performance in any genre. Dancers will learn "tricks" such as Aerial's, Handstands, front walk overs, and many other gymnastic style moves.
Class progressions include basic acrobatics skills such as somersaults, balancing tricks, cartwheels etc. This class will consist of floor exercises only, there will be no apparatus used. Dancers will continue to progress in class as each trick/skill is accomplished.Â
Your child will come out of class having learned amazing tricks like splits, backbends, rolls and cartwheels, as well as some very impressive partner and group tricks and balances.
Beginner level students will learn acro basics and further improve flexibility. Advancement thru the levels will include learning more complex acro skills, partnering and group work.
Acro classes are offered by Clark Dance Production. Our recreational programming classes are all taught by experienced, adult instructors with extensive training and education in the field of dance instruction! We take pride in providing quality dance classes for all levels!
