Anatomy and Physiology are an essential course for students in healthcare and biological field.
Anatomy and Physiology are an essential course for students in healthcare and biological field. This course includes medical terminology training, human gross anatomy and physiology related to organization of human body, as well as chemical, cellular and tissue level of organization.
The course will teach the integumentary system, principles of support and movement (musculature), control systems of the human body (nerve system), the endocrine system, the cardiovascular system, the lymphatic system and immunity, the respiratory system, the digestive system, metabolism, the urinary system, fluid, electrolyte and acid-base dynamics, the reproductive systems, development and inheritance anatomy and physiology.
This class has lab (include medical terminology quiz, anatomy, and phycology quiz, also include video tape to show anatomy human body.

After the acupuncture and herbal students graduate, they will take the National Exam, Pan – Canadian examination. This examination is set up by five regulatory provinces. (BC, AB, ON, NF, QC).
When students pass the national exam “Pan – Canadian examination”, they receive acupuncture license or herbal license, they can practice in the above five regulatory provinces and non regulatory provinces of Canada.
In Manitoba: Massage Therapy Association of Manitoba (MTAM), recognized our school massage therapy program, see website www.mtam.mb.ca.
The Massage therapy students that graduate will be able to register and be a member of MTAM. In Manitoba all private insurance companies will cover members of MTAM practice. Eg: Blue Cross, Great West Life, Manu Life and so on.
Goals And Program
Specific content will include:cardiovascular (blood, heart and blood vessels), respiratory, gastrointestinal including nutrition, urinary including fluid/electrolyte and acid/base balance, reproduction and pregnancy including heredity.
This course includes the study of normal anatomy and physiology of the human body, beginning with the structure and function of the cell and continuing with the organization of the cell into organs.

The topics of study include cells, tissues, as well as the following body systems:, Integumentary, musculoskeletal, ciculatory, respiratory and digestive.
