Placement Year

  • This course offers all students the option of a one-year paid work placement, to boost your employability even further. If you choose this route, you will take the placement following year two of your course, and then return to complete your degree.

Skills

  • This course will prepare you to progress and excel in the world of animation and audiovisual production.

Animation combines technical skills and creative thinking to create still and moving images and experiences across a variety of media. With a focus on digital platforms, the BA Animation aims to equip you with the knowledge, creative and technical skills, and a portfolio of your work, ready to work in the animation production sector, and the wider creative industries. You will graduate industry ready with skills around:

Learning
This programme follows an active blended learning style. You will be taught by experienced and passionate staff, who are active researchers and practitioners in the field.

You won’t just be sitting in a lecture theatre, but instead will be learning in interactive classes, working closely with your lecturers and fellow students.This includes:
