The expectation of this course is for students to gain a basic understanding of 2D animation, from learning the foundation for drawing and storytelling to an introduction in creating digital animation with Adobe Animate.
While executing these digital techniques, students will learn about the principles of animation through class exercises and discussions.

This artistic class helps student’s  improve their creativity, fine motor skills and artist capabilities. Monsters, fairies, animals, backdrops and all sorts of creatures will hand built to create an amazing short animation video.Â
The 3-D Modeling/Animation area incorporates traditional skills, such as sculpture and drawing, with 3-D digital skills to create 3-D models and animations in a digital environment. Students apply concepts such as lighting effects, camera angles, motion studies, digital video
This class is focused on teaching student’s digital cutout style animation techniques, with scanned images and vector graphics. South Park is a notable example of the cutout-style.
In our program you will learn all about animation, animation principles and keyframing. The soul of the curriculum is character animation but you will learn to animate anything. You will develop game ready animation assets as well as create story based, cinematic animations.
Storyboard Artists create visualizations of scripts, or animatics, allowing the creative team to see the episode or film before full animation or shooting begins. ECA’s storyboard curriculum covers a large range of supportive courses, preparing students for a career as a storyboard artist.
