The various applications discussed in the module include building with tips and forms, as well as all of the prep work needed to ensure a long-lasting set of gel nails.
At Avant-Garde College, students apply the practical skills, which have been taught in person throughout the program, in a professional spa environment. The program consists of in person theory and practical work taught by a Journeyperson Instructor. The student is required to bring a model and will be tested on the application of a complete set of gel nails the last day of class and will be marked by the journeyperson Instructor.

Seasonal Nail Art Class is offered by DK Beauty Systems. Please bring your gel sundry supplies including: gels, brushes, LED lamp, nail forms (or tips), prep & wipe, primer, 3 gel polish colours, gel play colours, pen & paper for writing.

The Manicures program provides students with knowledge and skills on performing hand and nail treatments. From basic manicures to luxurious spa treatments, students learn to master technique, skill and how to handle difficult situations.
A fifteen-hour private program teaching the important salon skill of pedicuring. This is a service that is highly in demand in all beauty salons. The curriculum includes foot diseases, anatomy of the foot, hot stone massage, classic pedicure, and spa pedicure.
