Cochin Arts and Science College, operated by the Jai Bharath Educational Trust, is a certified institution with ISO 9001:2015 accreditation. It was originally established in 2011 under the name R U College of Management and Technology. On March 29, 2019, the college underwent a name change to Cochin Arts and Science College, as per the directive outlined in Mahatma Gandhi University Order No: 1282/ACA7/2019 mgu. The college is affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University in Kottayam, Kerala, Ernakulam, and is officially recognized by the Government of Kerala. Undaunted by challenges, Cochin Arts and Science College achieved notable milestones in recent years. In 2020, it secured affiliation for the B. Com Model I Finance and Taxation program. The commitment continued in 2021 with affiliations for B. Sc Psychology and B.Sc. Cyber Forensics, showcasing a dedication to diverse educational opportunities. In 2022, the college furthered its pursuit of academic excellence by introducing the B. Sc Food Technology and Quality Assurance programme. The year 2023 marked significant progress with two key developments: a collaboration with JB International Academy for expanded management and educational offerings, and the introduction of the B.Sc Microbiology program, highlighting the institution’s commitment to innovative education. As part of the collaboration, Mr. Shemeer Kamal and Mr. Shihabudheen S joined as Directors to guide the academic vigor of the institution.
