Course Details

The ba (hons) game design programme introduces and equips students with artistic knowledge and technical skills that are related to game design. Students will explore the fundamentals starting from generating strong conceptual game arts, till the technical execution of building and running the game itself. 

The programme is structured to achieve the student’s potential development of concept, visual language, technical skills and personal expressions.

Assessments

  • Assignments, final projects, quizzes, tests, presentations, mid-term and final exams.

Academic Requirements

  • UEC- Minimum FIVE (5) Credits
  • STPM- Minimum Grade C in TWO (2) Subjects (GP 2.00)
  • A-Level- Minimum Grade D in TWO (2) Subjects (GP 2.00)
  • International Baccalaureate (IB)- Minimum score of 26/42 credits from SIX (6) Subjects
  • Portfolio Assessment- Minimum 6 pieces of artwork are required for review
  • National Matriculation-Minimum CGPA of 2.0
  • Other Qualifications Equivalent to STPM/A-Level by MQA- Minimum average score of 60 percent
  • UCSI Foundation- Minimum CGPA of 2.0
  • Diploma- Minimum CGPA of 2.0
  • Advance Diploma (Level 5, MQF)- Minimum CGPA of 2.0
  • Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM)- Minimum Grade of Jayyid
  • Diploma Kemahiran Malaysia (DKM)/Diploma Vokasional Malaysia (DVM)- Subjected to HEP Senate / Academic Board's approval
  • Diploma Lanjutan Kemahiran Malaysia (DLKM)- Subjected to HEP Senate / Academic Board's approval
  • Other Qualifications Recognised by the Malaysian Government- Case-by-case basis
