The course of study for B. Pharm shall extend over a period of eight semesters (four academic years) and six semesters (three academic years) for lateral entry students. The curricula and syllabi for the program shall be prescribed from time to time by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.
Candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually.
Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.
Established under aegis the of the Al-Ameen Educational Society in 1983, the College has been a nurturing ground for pharmaceutical professionals. In keeping with its objective of providing the best possible pharmaceutical education, the College has built up a strong infrastructure.
This comprises of highly knowledgeable faculty, most of whom hold doctorates and facilities that enable students to gain a contemporary education. Continuous interaction with industry is maintained to ensure that the learning program remains relevant to the changing trends in pharmaceuticals.
The College is constantly seeking to upgrade the quality of its education and actively participates in research to remain on the cutting edge. Collaborations with foreign universities are also being planned with this objective.
Plans are also afoot to establish pilot manufacturing and testing units to enable students to gain an even more hands-on education. The College through continuous up-gradation is endeavouring to become a 'Continuous education centre', where new knowledge pertaining to the pharma field is generated on a regular basis.
Since RRCOP inception in 2005 the institute has been at the forefront of B. Pharm program with 60 intake. Later intake has been extended to 100 in the year 2017. The four-year B Pharm course with Credit based Semester System (CBS) offered by RRCOP considering the needs of industry.

Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination / two year P.U.C. examination of Karnataka P.U.C. Board or an equivalent examination of any other approved board or university with not less than 40% marks in any combination comprising P.C.M. or P.C.B.
These regulations shall be called as “The Revised Regulations for the B. Pharm. Degree Program (CBCS)of the Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi”. They shall come into effect from the Academic Year 2016-17.
Candidates who have passed two years P.U.C Examination of Karnataka P.U.C Board or any equivalent examination of any other approved Board or university with not less than 40% marks in any combination comprising P.C.M or P.C.B.
