Welcome to “The Oxford College of Nursing”, which is the flagship of “Children’s Education Society (Regd.)” founded by Sri. S. NARASARAJU to promote educational institutions to impart quality education and is recognized as one of the best nursing educational institutions maintaining high standards of education.

The Oxford College of Nursing was established in the year 1992. The College offers Basic B.Sc Nursing, PostBasicB.Sc Nursing ( PBBSc N) , M.Sc Nursing & Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery ( DGNM) Programmes. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, recognized by Karnataka State Nursing Council & Indian Nursing Council. The School of Nursing is affiliated to Karnataka State Diploma Nursing Examination Board.

The nursing programmes focus on equipping and channelizing the knowledge, attitude, skills and potentials of the students effectively and efficiently to provide quality health care. The students are prepared intensively for maintaining professional standards and facilitating them for quality nursing practice by a team of qualified, experienced and committed teaching faculty.

We focus on the holistic personality development of the students by not only concentrating on academics but also involving them in co-curricular & extracurricular activities. We are committed to inculcate strong moral and ethical values in our students which are essential for a nurse. The college also promotes and conducts faculty development programmes by encouraging their participation in various National and International Conferences, Seminars and Workshops.

We also contribute in development of nursing profession by organizing various Workshops, Seminars and observing national and international health day themes of importance. We have a rich alumnae treasure (Postgraduates, Undergraduates and Diploma holders) of around 2200 who are working in India and abroad in various facilities and positions.
