DurationThis course is designed to improve the participants recognition of electrocardiogram (ECG) skills and pharmacology knowledge for treatment of cardiovascular emergencies. This course is a great prep course for Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) as it will cover all of the major medications given in a cardiac situation. This course will cover basic heart anatomy and electrophysiology and cover a study of the sinus, atrial, junctional, AV blocks and ventricular rhythms and patients experiencing a myocardial infarction. A certificate of completion will be granted the participants.
Emergency Medical Education and Resource Group (EMERG) is an American Heart Association Training Site that provides classes in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
