Canadian Red Cross Basic Life Support (HCP) Courses are available from Life Preservers First Aid Training at our various training centres across the Lower Mainland.
We serve Burnaby, Coquitlam, Richmond, Surrey, Delta, North Vancouver, East Vancouver, West Vancouver and North Vancouver. Students will be provided with the skills needed to recognize and respond to emergencies for adults, children and infants for one and two rescuers.

Basic Life Support training is designed for Health Care Providers such as doctors, nurses, paramedics or those who work in a health care field and require the Health Care Provider CPR-HCP certification.
This course covers the health care provider standards of CPR for adults, children, and infants as well as choking procedures and AED.
Basic Life Support (BLS) is the foundational course for healthcare professionals and trained first responders who provide care to patients in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings.
Teaches the important steps to perform a rapid assessment, perform Basic Life Support (BLS) skills, and perform rapid defibrillation including use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
At this time we are currently running Blended Basic Life Support Provider and Renewal courses which meet all Alberta Occupational Health & Safety workplace requirements as well as Heart & Stroke Foundation training standards.
