Basic Life Support ( Health Care Provider)

BLS for Health Care Providers was designed for those with a duty to respond and deliver CPR and AED skills using a team approach to cardiac arrest management, and to better support health care providers in their practice.

The BLS curriculum focuses on the delivery of high performance, team-based professional-level resuscitation. For this reason, this course is not intended for the lay rescuer or general public.

This course is intended for in-facility care providers, including nursing staff, care aides, medical and dental professionals, pre-hospital care providers, which may include professionals in a fire service, rescue team, sports-medicine, lifeguards and ski patrol.

Completion Criteria:

•  Ability to comprehend and successfully demonstrate all the course skill competencies
•  Ability to complete a written, closed-book, independently completed knowledge evaluation with a minimum mark of 75%
• Must meet additional legislative requirements, if applicable Participants must attend and participate in 100% of the course

Upon successful completion of the training you will receive a Canadian Red Cross CPR level C / AED certificate which is valid for one year.(digital certificate issued upon successful completion)
