The great thing about basketball is, although it’s a team sport when competing, you can practice on your own, with one friend or a whole bunch of people. All you need is a ball and a hoop and you’re ready.
We are the National Governing Body (NGB) for basketball in England and responsible for all aspects of the sport. We are a company limited by guarantee that comprises of member clubs and players.
We have recently moved our head office to the NSC, Etihad Campus, Manchester and we have a team of just over 25 employed people to carry out the day-to-day running of the organization, including the development and growth of the sport.
We aim to provide children with "best" basketball experience, including learning by fun & match play. We welcome everybody - any ability, age and gender. We especially welcome beginners.

The hall is also used for various other sporting activities including 5-a-side, wrestling and circuit training as well as Junior Y and team building events. At the top of the sports hall we also have a 100m running track.
Basketball training is offered by Surrey Rams for all ages and skill level.
