This is an introductory class in graphic communication which uses the computer as a tool for building and editing images.
Students address problems of visual form and organization, but with an emphasis on visual constructions which convey information, and on type and text as graphic components of those constructions.
Individualized, hands-on instruction is provided using the Adobe® Creative Cloud programs (Photoshop®, Illustrator®, and InDesign®). This course is intended for anyone interested in computer graphic design applications.

This class includes a thorough review of the InDesign interface including how to use tools and panels, and how to customize and save workspaces.
A study in the basic principles of animation and in bringing a character to life through the mechanics of motion. Areas of focus include squash and stretch, overlapping action, volume consistency, rhythms, lines of action and timing with a strong emphasis on basic drawing.
