50 Years of existence

• For 50 years, continuing education has contributed to the development of adult skills across Quebec. It is constantly evolving in order to stay abreast of the needs of the labor market.

1500 Adults trained per year

• Since the beginning of its existence, continuing education has trained thousands of adults. Around 1,500 students are trained annually through continuing education.

Commitment

• The Cégep de Saint-Laurent was born in a context of social and political commitment from its student population and its staff. As an awareness of belonging to a community and a desire to act to improve it, commitment to Cégep de Saint-Laurent is based on surpassing oneself, perseverance and professional rigor.

Creativity and innovation

• Creativity and innovation presuppose a desire to do things differently and explore new avenues. Thus, our programs develop curiosity and imagination in the face of the challenges and realities of the world around us. Within our community, creativity and innovation cover indiscriminately the traditional fields of arts and sciences, pre-university or technical programs and continuing education, theoretical and applied.
