This CDM Awareness course aims to give delegates a comprehensive overview of the new regulations. It can be utilised as either a refresher course or an overview for delegates without previous CDM experience.
The new, simplified CDM Awareness Regulations bring together the existing CDM 1994 and the Construction (Health Safety and Welfare) (CHSW) Regulations 1996 into a single regulatory package. The new CDM Regulations offer an opportunity for a step-change in health and safety performance and will be used to re-emphasise the health, safety and broader business benefits of a well-managed and coordinated approach to the management of health and safety in construction. From 2015 the CDM Awareness training course will also include the changes to the regulations (CDM 2015).
