Felicity has been teaching since 2005. She is a Suzuki-trained teacher and has completed numerous teacher training courses in New Zealand and Australia.
She has performed in the U.S.A. and Australia, with the largest audience being more than 2,500. She now shares her love of music through teaching.
The Fab Music Studio operates in Tawa, Wellington. We also run some classes from Churton Park. Felicity, director and lead teacher is a highly trained Suzuki cello and piano teacher who has been teaching since 2005. From a musical family, Felicity has been surrounded by music for her whole life. She now shares the joy of music with others through teaching.
Felicity is a graduate of the New Zealand School of Music and plays with many different music groups in the Wellington area. She is Suzuki teacher-trained, and loves to share her enthusiasm for music with all ages. Her youngest student is three years and eldest is sixty-something!
Soundworks Music School has been around Palmerston North since 2007, initially led by Liz Locke, but now owned and managed since February 2021 by Rhys Davies Smith, teacher of guitar and drums.
Out of School Music classes are intended to give all primary school children the opportunity to learn a musical instrument.
Viola classes are offered by Christchurch School Of Music. With a shortage of viola players worldwide, this instrument should appeal to students who are interested in pursuing music more seriously.

Students are taught the basic bowing and fingering techniques while learning to read music written in the bass clef. Required: Students will need to have their own chromatic tuner.
