Clarinet Lessons are offered by Chicago Center for Music Education.
Founded, as the Suzuki-Orff School for Young Musicians in 1981, we launched our inaugural classes teaching 15 families of diverse cultural and economic backgrounds through our unique curriculum integrating the Suzuki and Orff methodologies.

Whether your child wants to learn clarinet for their school band, or you want to brush up on your clarinet playing for fun - New Groove has a place for you
Learning to play the clarinet can be fun and very rewarding. It’s a great instrument for many reasons. It’s small and can be easily taken anywhere, it’s not very loud so it can be practiced without the neighbors getting annoyed and it can be played with any band or orchestra.
Clarinet students will learn the fundamentals of music such as pitch, rhythm, intonation, and terminology. Assembly and care of the clarinet, ligature, reed placement, and maintenance are covered with all beginning students
