We all know someone that runs away from conflict. We also know someone who aggressively confronts it. Neither approach is productive for moving a team or an organization forward.

Conflict is inevitable when people come together to achieve a goal. We must be prepared to effectively handle conflicts with others and ourselves, and know how to resolve differences in a positive way.

This workshop will help you understand the root of conflict, communicate without causing defensiveness, de-escalate difficult situations, and resolve conflicts in both work and social settings.

  • Identify different approaches to conflict in terms of interests, needs, rights, or power, and how to respond to each

  • Identify your different conflict style as well as others’

  • Implement effective prevention, resolution, and mediation tactics for when conflict arises
