This qualification focuses on key counselling skills and will give you an understanding of the knowledge and skills required in a counsellor. It could be the first step towards a new career or be used to enhance supervision and support skills.
Completion of this qualification does not mean you are a registered counsellor, further training would be required if this is your aim.
On average the course takes 15 weeks to complete. The time frame depends on the time you have available and your prior knowledge.
