At this course, participants will learn to:
Discuss the prevalence and pathophysiology of diabetes
State the classifications of diabetes
Explain screening and diagnosis of diabetes
Identify diabetes complications and screening
Discuss Diabetes Self Management Education & Support (DSMES)
Recognize oral diabetes medications and other injectable therapies
Discuss types of insulin
Describe glucose monitoring and diabetes technology
