Diploma in Photography

In the words of the legendary French photographer, Henri Cartier-Bresson, "To take a photograph is to align the head, the eye and the heart. It’s a way of life."- could not have made more sense coming from anyone else other than the master of street photography who pioneered an entirely new genre of this art, that photography is more than a click, flash and pause- being adept with a camera is one thing, and being gifted with the aesthetic sensibilities can sometimes be an entirely different thing- unless you know how to work in a way that nurtures both, your inborn aesthetic sensibility while adding to your comprehensive understanding of the concepts and technicalities of photography.

As with all art, endowing artistic sensibilities are considerably more difficult to teach than the nuts and bolts of photography. It is through the absolute and consummate combination of both skill and art that a CREATOR is made.

This Intensive photography program at Pixel Viilage Creator Academy seeks to augment the already existing talent and skill that is innate in exceptional artists.

As apparent through the name itself-CREATOR is for artists who want to bring their inner composer and designer to life to meet industry standards both nationally and internationally.

The Program is a hands-on learning experience that is designed for students to explore the possibilities on both sides of the lens- and what it takes to capture photos that are beyond simply 'beautiful' and seek and capture art that strikes a resonance with a larger audience, for a larger purpose, and train them to open up their minds and embark on a creative journey.

This curriculum blends academic knowledge of Photographic history, technology, aesthetics, theory & business into an experiential Journey for our Creators. The program also seeks to improve the unique ability to analyse various subjects and genres of photography while spending a considerable amount of time exploring the studio space and equipment at your disposal.

While photography has always been inextricably linked to technology, today's image-makers can no longer call themselves photographers. They must also be connoisseurs in digital imagery and exhibit hands-on experience with multimedia systems.
