Drawing class is offered by Gallery on the Square.The Gallery on the Square is a retail art gallery which promotes local artists of all mediums.
In Painting class students will learn to master various painting techniques to create stunning textures and forms. They will learn skills such as dry brush, blending, layering, paint sketching, wet painting, layering, patience, and proportions.
From traditional techniques of observation and representation to the expressive realms of abstraction, our courses examine the different modes of art-making that define drawing and painting as contemporary practice.
If you are always drawn to pick up a pencil, don’t brush off your painting skills! Draw from still life (but really COOL still life), clothed models (sometimes the studio dog) and work from your imagination while learning important stuff like proportion, perspective, composition and hatching/cros...
