Eight week beginners introduction class to drawing and painting for Middle to High school students and adults.
Various crafts are used for younger students as well as for seasonal activities.Students use drawing, paintings and sculptural techniques on craft activities.
In this intense class we explore the structural aspect of the body and ways to depict the rhythms and forms inherent to our bodies. We develop a language of line that connects us to the earliest known and most sophisticated drawings made by humans.
Lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on experimentation introduce the medium of oils. Working from museum masterpieces, still-life arrangements, or your favorite photos, explore basic painting techniques.
Improve your drawing skills online! This 3-session series is a beginner friendly class for making "Original Characters" or "OCs". Students will practice incorporating digital tools with traditional drawing principles. Follow along with the teacher using your favorite drawing application!
