Course Content:

The Elderly Care course is aimed at understanding what is required for basic frail care. The course is a five part course consisting of the following areas:

• Section 1: Orientation
• Section 2: The physical & emotional changes in the elderly
• Section 3: Caring for the elderly
• Section 4: Nutrition
• Section 5: Emergency first aid & basic life support for the elderly
