Basic one-day course offering lifesaving first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home. Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.
VO2 instructors use a learner-centered approach and incorporate a lot of hands-on teaching to review, demonstrate and practice skills. Our instructors also use various teaching aids to help simulate real life emergencies.
We where the first in the GTA to offer in-class and blended learning First Aid/CPR courses and are exclusive in offering training in both English and French.

Established in 1991, VO2 is one of Ontario’s premier First Aid and CPR service providers. As founder of VO2, I have been involved in the health profession care profession for more than 30 years.

In this basic one-day course students will learn lifesaving first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home.Â
The Basic First Aid course meets the requirement of the Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Advanced Education and CSA Standards.
The classroom portion of the course will consist of 7.5 hours and must be completed within 6 weeks of completing the online portion.
In order to further enhance the safety of children in foster care, certification in first aid and cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is now mandatory for all Saskatchewan foster parents.
We offer the Occupational First Aid Level 1 course in accordance with WorkSafeBC. The course will take eight hours and will cover a number of topics which include CPR and automated external defibrillator training.
