Focus Language has been successfully operating in the Phoenix Metro area since 1981. It has recently opened a second location in Chicago, in 2010. Its mission is to give students a comfortable and supportive environment where to learn as efficiently and quickly as possible.
Early on, Jean-Paul realized that most language learning systems were ineffectual and dull. As a passionate student of learning he set out to create methods that would allow students to thrive.
Whether we teach individuals or corporate students, our course scheduling is always flexible enough to accommodate busy individuals. Communicating passion for languages and learning, in general, has remained our primary goal.
All ESOL students are working to achieve various personal goals, such as learning enough English to meet daily communication needs, conducting business, getting involved in their children’s education, and interacting in their community.
All our programs aim at developing the four skills: Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing. We also take into account students’ particular needs and adapt the lessons to ensure these needs are fulfilled.
We offer four types of courses: General English for everyone, Test prep, Conversational, and Business. Our courses are geared toward immigrants to English-speaking countries and to those who frequently interact with English speakers for personal or professional reasons.
You will learn the language as spoken by native speakers in everyday situations and you will be encouraged to think and speak only in English.
English Conversation Classes are available to those wanting to practice their speaking and listening skills.
