About
A T Level is an exciting new technical qualification which will teach you the knowledge and skills needed to progress into skilled employment or higher-level technical training, such as higher education and higher apprenticeships. The T Level study programme is eligible for UCAS points.
The content for this qualification was devised by T Level panels, which included employers and industry stakeholders. Employers and other stakeholders helped create the assessments and set the standards to ensure you achieve the level of competence needed to enter skilled employment.
The T Level is made up of different components:
A technical qualification ithe core component)
A technical component (the occupational specialism)
An Employer Set Project
A substantial industry placement with an external employer (a minimum of 315 hours)
You’ll spend 80% of your time in the classroom and 20% on an industry placement with an employer (equivalent to 45 days) to give you the skills and knowledge companies look for. Your industry placement gives you the chance to learn what a real career is like while you continue your studies. When and how you complete it depends on the T Level, school or college, and employer.
To achieve the T Level, you will need to successfully demonstrate your achievement of each of the components.

Entry Requirements

Overall 5 x GCSEs at Grade 4 and above for all T Levels
English and Maths Grade 4 and above
All applicants will be invited for an interview and assessment to confirm that the course is suitable for them.
Coursework Requirements
The core component of the study programme is 100% externally assessed through two written examinations and an employer-set project.
The purpose of the employer-set project is to ensure that you have the opportunity to apply core knowledge and skills to develop a substantial piece of work in response to an employer-set brief. The brief and tasks are contextualised around an occupational area and chosen by you.
The combined results from these assessments will be aggregated to form the overall core component grade (A* to E and U).
Progression
Upon successfully completing this course, you will gain the skills needed to pursue employment as part of a theatre or live events production team. Alternatively, you could advance your studies through a Higher or Degree Level Apprenticeship or other higher-level technical qualifications. T Levels also provide UCAS points, enabling you to meet degree-level entry requirements should you choose to progress to university.
Our history can be traced back to 1828, when the Grove House School began offering education to residents of Tottenham, noted for its advanced curriculum and refusal to use corporal punishment.
The school, now part of the College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London, produced several well-known alumni, including 11 future UK MPs. In the 1890s, the Westminster Technical Institute was established, offering courses in the building and plumbing trades, carriage-building, and elementary subjects, before opening the UK’s first school of hospitality in 1910.
This rich history culminated in the group’s formation in 2016, bringing together three colleges with eleven centres across central and north London, working primarily in Islington, Camden, Westminster, Haringey and Enfield, but with students and apprentices coming from across London and the south east.
Today, CCCG’s colleges train over 25,000 students every year, equipping them with the academic and vocational skills and knowledge they need to progress into employment or higher education.
The group’s diverse alumni include household names such as renowned chefs, Jamie Oliver, Ainsley Harriott and Anthony Worral Thompson, award-winning performer Paloma Faith, actors Jessie Wallace, Zawe Ashton, and Steve McFadden, presenters Maya Jama, Trevor Nelson, and Reggie Yates, and Olympians, Lina and Laviai Nielsen.
