What are BVoc Programmes
Bachelor in Vocational Education programmes are jointly offered by the Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD) and the Apparel Training & Design Centre (ATDC). RGNIYD is an Institute of National Importance by the act of Parliament no. 35/2012 offering educational programmes in the area of Youth Development and ATDC is the largest pan-India Vocational Training Provider for the Apparel Sector providing employable skills to youth.
ATDC centres are the Skill Knowledge Providers (SKPs) approved by AICTE, MHRD, and GoI for imparting National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) based skill modules.
Benefits of BVoc
ATDC’s BVoc in Apparel Manufacturing & Entrepreneurship (AME) and BVoc in Fashion Design & Retail (FDR) address the critical knowledge & skill sets required to make the candidates Industry ready right from the start. Based on the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF), the total duration of the programme is 3 years (6 Semesters in a modular format) with 150 credits / 3000 Hours of teaching at ATDC- SKPs.
Credits for General Contents are awarded by RGNIYD and Skill Content by ATDC for the award of Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Degree.

About ATDC
ATDC is the largest quality Vocational Training Provider (VTP) dedicated to the Apparel Sector under the aegis of AEPC.
Registered as a Society under Societies Act in 1991 ATDC, was approved as a Nodal Agency by the Ministry of Textiles, GoI in the year 2010 for implementing Integrated Skill Development Scheme (ISDS) of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India and by training over 3 Lakh candidates under ISDS and during the decade. ATDC participates in RFP of various Central and State Government Agencies in 23 states across India including the State Skill Missions, NSDC, MSD&E etc.

The ATDC is a dedicated Vocational Training Provider and has the largest number of directly run Training Centers for the Apparel Sector and is the single largest Pan-India Training Provider for a specific Vocational Trade in India.
