Today's film and television producers need more than good ideas and a crew to get their projects off the ground. They need people with the skills to handle financing, management, legal, distribution and business affairs. That's where you'll come in.
The two-semester – Television and Film - Business graduate certificate program will emphasize the importance of an entrepreneurial spirit and a global outlook. You'll explore the industry's legal, financial and regulatory frameworks and develop skills necessary for producing in the current Canadian and international market.
To round out your training, you'll complete a field placement that will allow you to gain experience in the industry before graduation.This program is unique in Canada, and it will:

This program will open the door to a career in film and television providing on-set skills including communication, protocols, film terminology, plus Motion Picture Industry Orientation, Motion Picture Safety and WHMIS certificates which are required to work on set.
You will each get an opportunity to write, direct, operate the camera, lighting, acting, and various assisting roles.
Gain essential creative and technical skills to produce captivating animated content for diverse industries.
This hands-on workshop provides artists with camera, audio, and lighting basics from pre- to post-production.
Students can learn specific lessons about collaborative filmmaking process.
