LIFT provides training in all aspects of filmmaking and media arts.
Offering 180 workshops over three seasons each year from camera theory to digital animation, LIFT is a one-of-a-kind training facility that offers practical knowledge to media artists at any stage of their career.
LIFT offers intensive workshops taking place on evenings or weekends focusing on specific skills. Sessions run three to twelve hours so you can learn a new software program or camera in a condensed time frame.
LIFT’s small class sizes provide each participant an opportunity for hands-on learning. Media artists taking LIFT’s digital based classes each work at individual iMac stations.
Filmmakers wanting to learn cinematography get their hands on the camera and lighting. Students taking our screenwriting classes get personalized feedback from industry professionals.
LIFT’s workshops exist to give that crucial kick to participants who want to create: learn, plan, make, edit, and distribute.
