Practical and theoretical tests will be delivered throughout the programme of study. Units will cover safe working practices, cavity walling, contributing to setting out and several other basic bricklaying skills.

This course is a progression from the Level 1 study programme to further develop skills in bricklaying. It’s about increasing trade skills to meet the needs of employers.
You will have the opportunity to work on many live projects and benefit from site visits, industry talks and demonstrations from experts. You will also be encouraged to showcase your skills at local and national competitions, including the Guild of Bricklayers Southern Regional Craft Competition.
