Aviron Technical Institute was founded in 1937 by aviation pioneer Capitaine W. J. Guy, and european industrial educator Simon F. Flegg, when they combined their knowledge and expertise to create the trade school under the name “Aviron”
Participants will let their creative selves flare by welding, heat bending, and metal twisting!
Designed to instruct welders in welding safety and welding techniques utilizing various processes
This 28-week (840 hours) program takes a student with little or no previous experience in the welding trade and supplies them with the necessary skills to seek employment as an apprentice welder.
This is an introductory welding course designed to introduce the student to welding shop safety, terminology, and tools and equipment and to provide hands-on experience with the welding tools and equipment used in a welding shop.
Individuals will receive in shop Practical Training for all 3 welding processes.
