The Dream Academy of Dancing was established in 1993 and we have just celebrated our 24th year.
Our classes are based in Thurnby Lodge, Leicester and we offer classes in singing and dancing for students aged 3 years and upwards.
The students work on performance pieces for our annual show and many competitions and exams held throughout the year.
The aim of the school is to have fun, stay fit, make new friendships, build confidence and self-esteem, improve posture, co-ordination, creativity and musicality in a fun and friendly environment.
The school undertakes I.D.T.A Exams, shows and also competition work 2 - 3 times a year, with many medals and trophies awarded to the students.
In addition, the students are regularly offered exciting opportunities to perform in the West End where our students last performed in October 2012 and December 2015.
Advanced 2 Tap classes offered by Armley Dance Studio. The school holds a good reputation for training boys.
Advanced 1Tap classes are offered by Hayley Sexton School of Dance. Our aim is to nurture and inspire a love of dance in our pupils in a fun, friendly and inclusive environment.
Adult Tap - Beginner classes are offered by Southampton Dance Academy. Southampton Dance Academy work extremely hard to share our extensive and constantly evolving knowledge of dance with children and adults, utilising inspiring music and excellent syllabi in beautiful spaces.
Junior Tap classes are offered by The Manor School Of Ballet. We offer the highest possible standards of training in Tap.
Children from around 7 years with experience in tap dancing, and complete beginners aged 8 and 9 years, can join our energetic and funky Primary tap classes.
