DurationThis Level enables learners to develop the skills required to become professional hairdressers. This is the first of three levels of which culminate in a professional hairdressing qualification. This level is designed to serve as an introduction to the hairdressing industry and provide the learner with the basics of hairdressing.
When a learner decides to follow the Full Time National course, he/she will attend classes at the Academy every day from Monday to Friday for one full year until the three NQF Levels are successfully completed.
Students will attend lectures and workshops in their Second year of study on a Part time basis once a week and the remainder of the week Students will be required to work in a registered salon to complete their practical workplace experience allowing them to qualify to complete their National Trade Test
Learners shall attend theory and practical sessions at THASA. An integrated summative assessment will take place after each level.
Hairdressing training is offered by Zurel Bros SA for learners. Zurel Bros SA (PTY) Ltd is a multipurpose centre which hosts a number of different skills interventions across different faculties of our business.
This full time course focuses on combining theory with industry related practicals in a classroom environment.
