You will also learn about client care and consultation, shampooing and conditioning, and promoting and selling your products and services. You will further develop your knowledge and apply the skills you have learned through working in a real-life commercial salon and attending work placements throughout the year. As part of this study programme, you will develop your maths and English skills, attend tutorials and Individual Development (ID).
You will also complete a work placement or extended industry placement. All aspects of your study programme will be discussed at your interview.

This course is ideal for those wishing to begin a career in hairdressing. It is offered on a part-time basis subject to age, experience and motivation, and includes training in the following: working in the hair industry, health & safety, shampooing and conditioning, styling hair and cutting.

As an Advanced and Creative Hair Professional Apprentice, you will provide a quality service, whilst working to the highest standards and continuously developing your personal and professional skills. You will be required to work without supervision, managing yourself and others when required.
