Our Fashion Design School is based in Fairland, Johannesburg and we offer full time or part time courses in sewing and patternmaking of all types of ladies wear, men’s wear and children’s wear, accessories and fashion illustration.

 Our courses are flexible and specifically aimed at individuals who are eager to learn the skill of fashion design and sewing without the stress of exams and overdue projects.

Our classes are kept small and intimate and we work with each individual at their own level and pace to ensure maximum learning and personal attention, so you never have to worry about waiting for or falling behind the rest of the class.

From teenagers to pensioners, everybody above the age of 10yrs is welcome at ÜberGlam. Whether you’re a beginner or advanced learner, a working professional, teen, stay-at-home mom, upcoming young designer or foreigner – anyone with a passion to learn about fashion will fit in with our mix of students and may join our fashion design school.  

If you’re a practicing designer or current design student at another fashion institute, you can also benefit from our classes and courses as we offer a relaxed atmosphere where you can get practical assistance and ask questions, consult with peers, learn new skills and solve issues regarding your design projects, client orders and design and garment difficulties without any pressure.
