We specialize in Hand Knitting, Machine Knitting and Crochet. Group and individual classes and pattern support are available. New and used knitting machines are also available for purchase.
Locally owned and operated by Fran Riley, Fran's Knitting Boutique is the only specialized knitting and crochet shop in St Augustine, FL. With over 35 years of experience, Fran has taught from the novice knitter to the more experienced. We offer a wide variety of yarn, materials, patterns, and accessories.
There are so many great benefits to knitting and crocheting. They can exercise both sides of the brain hemispheres and help reduce stress. They can improve your mood and motor skills. Also, it raises your self esteem. Come by for a complimentary coffee and friendly environment to work on a project.
Our classes are designed to introduce you to the basics of quilting by the quilters teaching the classes. From rotary cutting, pressing and block and quilt assembly!
This class is for students who already know how to cast on, the knit, purl stitch and binding off. We will not be teaching those in this class.
Join us this December to make an "ugly" sweater for the holiday season! Using paint, pom-poms, glue, sequins, fabric, and fun embellishments each student can design and decorate their sweater to the max.
We offer ongoing classes where we provide instruction and guidance on the project of your choice. Our instructors give tips and techniques that will improve your knitting and you will learn vicariously through the projects of your classmates.
