Daystar Education, Inc. was born in 1984 with a workshop and many in-services at Oregon treatment programs. At that point the State provided training that met certification requirements.
As the State training program devolved, community colleges and organizations like Daystar began to fill the void. In addition to the Core classes for Certification, Daystar offers over twenty other Elective/Continuing Education Courses.

This class prepares attendees to comply with Blood borne Pathogen exposures in the workplace. The OSHA Standards, exposure control planning, personal protective equipment, emergency procedures, and vaccination and testing requirements.
