They will learn about artists in history and the background of each style they are working on. We appreciate the importance of the creation of visual aesthetics as the building block of child development.
Beauty is everywhere. Priscilla & Tiffany's Art Academy believes importance of still lives as they play a crucial part in the development of our young artists' artistic skills.
Our inspirational still lives are curated each week by our teachers. We put care in curating our still lives in our studio to inspire others to be creative and feel full of love for art!
This class serves as a bridge between our upper level Studio Art classes, Digital and our Anime & Comics courses, incorporating projects from both tracks to introduce students to many different styles of art, and help them find their strengths and interests.
This focus will train students in basic drawing skills and techniques by exploring a range of genres and concepts in drawing. Throughout the long course of art history, drawing has become the basis and embodiment of various genres, including still-life, portraiture, landscape, abstraction, and more...
Participants refine and expand their drawing skills through studio practice in traditional media. Sessions focus on classic subject areas such as landscape, portrait, and figure.
Teen artists will deepen their knowledge of painting and further their painting skills in color mixing, paint application, texture, layering, composition, palette knife, brushwork, and more.
In this intense class we explore the structural aspect of the body and ways to depict the rhythms and forms inherent to our bodies. We develop a language of line that connects us to the earliest known and most sophisticated drawings made by humans.
