The Level 1 Hair and Beauty programme is ideal for those who are looking for a career in this sector.
It is designed to provide a introduction to develop the required skills and knowledge that enable you to progress further in this sector.
You will work towards a C&G Level 1 in Hair & Beauty, as well as develop your maths and English skills .
You will work on a range of units relating to Hair and Beauty, these include:
Demonstrating Manicure
Demonstrating Hair Styling
Creating a Mood Board
Alongside employability units and developing the skills to work with others in a professional environment.
All work is portfolio based. Assessment is by practical tasks (where you work on a model) and theory work is assignment based.
Entry Requirements
This course is for 16-18 year old.
You must have a 4 GCSE Grade 2 or above including English & maths. Suitability for the course is discussed at the interview stage.
