Aims
The Level 2 Award in COSHH Risk Assessment provides learners with knowledge and understanding of COSHH risk assessment and the skills that are required to carry out an appropriate risk assessment.
The objectives of the qualification include: preparing learners to progress to a qualification in the same subject area but at a higher level or requiring more specific knowledge, skills and understanding, preparing learners to progress to a qualification in another subject area, meeting relevant programmes of learning and supporting a role in the workplace
Prior Knowledge
There are no specific entry requirements however learners should have a minimum of level one in literacy and numeracy or equivalent. The qualification is suitable for learners of 16 years of age and above
