This course is delivered 1 day a week for 11 weeks, in the form of workshops and learner self-study, with constant online support from a tutor.
If you’re considering this course, you must have;
relevant experience in your chosen subject, at an appropriate level
a relevant qualification in your chosen subject
English, Maths and ICT skills at an appropriate level- you may be required to complete an initial assessment.
You must also be 19 or over before starting on the course.
During the course, you will cover areas such as;
Understanding roles, responsibilities, and relationships in education & training
Understanding and using inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education & training
Understanding assessment in education & training
Upon completion, you will be qualified as an ‘Associate Teacher’ and will be able to teach post 16 level.
Aspire Training Team was founded in 1997 by Cheryl Hadland, 7 years after opening the first ever Tops Day Nurseries, Tops Parkstone. At this time, Aspire Training Team was under its original name, Tops Training and was based in within the nursery.
This qualification focuses on the skills and competences required to be able to assist the delivery of sports or physical activity coaching sessions under the direct supervision of a more qualified coach.
This course is perfect if you want to work with children but feel worried about taking the first steps onto a course which has a placement/work experience or if you like the sound of a smaller group with lots of opportunities to learn practically.
The aim of this qualification is to prepare you to become Early Years Educators and qualifies you to work in a supervisory role within a nursery. On successful completion of the course, you will be able to work with children from birth to 5 years and gain knowledge of children aged 5 to 7 years.
T Level in Early Years Education and Childcare course is offered by Stoke on Trent College.
The Level 3 Award in Education and Training has been designed as a 'stepping stone' qualification, providing the training you need to teach as an assessor, trainer or teacher in the Lifelong Learning Sector in England. (Please note this qualification is not approved for anyone under 19 years old).
