In this class you will learn to fully express yourself and how to move in your own unique way.
Offered to the Level 4Â ballet students in our recreational program, lyrical combines both ballet and jazz fundamentals with an emphasis on emotive storytelling and fluid movement.
Lyrical dance classes are offered by The Dance Alliance. Lyrical dance is a style of dance created from the fusion of ballet with jazz and contemporary dance techniques. Lyrical is generally smoother and a bit faster than ballet, but not quite as fast as jazz.
This class involves Jazz and Ballet movements using expression and emotions to interpret the music selection.
Lyrical dance is the fusion of ballet and jazz technique. Expression from the inner emotion is a primary factor in choreographing and interpreting this art form.
