Instruction will cover the art and science of manicuring techniques, nail, design, business skills, and health and safety practices.
The primary purpose of the Nail Technician Course is to train the student in the basic manipulative skills, safety judgments, proper work habits, and desirable attitudes necessary to pass the State Board examination and for competency in job entry-level position as a nail technician .
This course provides all the theory and practical knowledge in basic Manicures, Pedicures, Gel polish, and Nail Art, including Safety and Sanitation.
The educational objective of the manicure course is providing the student with training sufficient to pass the State Board exam, to become properly licensed, and to perform all the duties required under such license and secure employment at an entry level.
Currently at Hays Academy of Hair Design we are starting Cosmetology and Nail Technology classes four times per year at each campus. Classes are starting soon at a campus near you.
