No background in computing? We offer foundation courses to prepare students with non-computing-related undergraduate degrees to transition into the MSIT program.

KSU’s nationally ranked MSIT program offers specialized concentrations in:

Admissions Requirements

  • Online Graduate Application - There is a non-refundable $60 application fee.
  • Transcripts - Official transcripts from EACH college and/or university you have attended.  
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 2.75 from a regionally accredited college or university

Additional Program Requirements:

  • Foundation coursework may be required for applicants from other disciplines or related fields 
  • Statement of purpose 
  • Two letters of recommendation (Optional) 
  • Resume or professional vitae
